If you want to make it almost continuous, then set the top and bottom margins in the WORD document to zero. To adjust the bottom margin, click the pointer at the bottom of the vertical ruler and drag it upwards to increase the margin and downwards to reduce the margin. Click on the top pointer and drag it upwards to reduce the margin and down to increase it.
Other than a small page break showing it would give the same result you are going after. Use the vertical ruler on the left of the page to adjust the top and bottom margins.
You can never learn enough keyboard shortcuts. I would strongly suggest leaving it in a letter or A-4 format and setting the default display settings of the document to continuous.
